Two people trapped when car goes down Potrero Hill embankment 

Two people were briefly trapped in a car this morning in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood near an Interstate Highway 280 exit, San Francisco fire officials said.

A car with possibly two people went down an embankment near Indiana and Mariposa streets around 6:30 a.m. and trapped as many as two people in the car, fire officials said.

Fire crews that responded said everyone was taken out of the car by 6:45 a.m.

Officials did not know the extent of any injuries.
