Two injured in unrelated shootings

Two young men were injured in separate gang-related shootings in southeastern San Francisco on Tuesday, police said.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg at Keith Street and Thomas Avenue at 5:18 p.m. Less than four hours later, a 20-year-old man crashed his car at 26th and Connecticut streets after being shot once in the back while parking, police said.

The 18-year-old didn’t know what hit him — he told police he only heard a gunshot, then fell to the ground, police said.

After the 20-year-old was shot, his car rolled down 26th Street and smashed into parked vehicles, police said.

There have been no arrests or descriptions of the shooters. Cops believe the incidents were gang-related.

There is no indication that the two shootings are connected, police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said Wednesday.
