Two Golden State Warriors preseason games vs. Sacramento Kings will have to do

With the NBA regular season scheduled to kick off Christmas Day, the Warriors will have only two preseason chances to work out all the kinks thanks to the lockout. The Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings on Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and then play the Kings at Power Balance Pavilion on Dec. 20 at 7 p.m., the team announced Thursday.

Tickets are expected to go on sale soon, though an exact timetable was not given. For more information, visit www.warriors.com.

NBA facilities are opening this week to players and training camps kick off next week.

Warriors camps: The Warriors will host six youth basketball camps throughout the winter. Camps will be held Dec. 19-23 in Los Altos and Hawyard, Dec. 26-30 in Newark, Dec. 27-30 in Walnut Creek, Jan. 8 in Walnut Creek and Feb. 12 in Napa. All campers attending any of the sessions receive a reversible camp jersey, headband, certificate, evaluations and two free tickets to a future Warriors game.
