Tourist sees swift retribution after being robbed

A tourist saw a side of San Francisco he would rather have skipped on Saturday.

The visitor was robbed of cash at gunpoint at Grant Avenue and Pine Street around 4:42 a.m., police said.

The tourist also saw The City’s police in action.

After he called police, who broadcasted the crook’s description, there was a swift arrest in the downtown area. The tourist later identified the crook for cops and the suspect was booked into Central Station, police said.
