Thug punches, kicks man in Mission Street cellphone robbery 

A man was violently attacked and robbed of his cellphone in the Mission on Thursday, cops said.

The 39-year-old victim was in the 2700 block of Mission Street around 2:30 a.m. when a thug, described by police as a man in his 30s, attacked, punching and kicking the victim until he fell to the ground, police said.

The crook then reached into the victim’s pocket, took his cellphone and fled on bicycle, cops said.

The victim was treated at San Francisco General Hospital for injuries that were not life threatening, police said. No arrest hs been made.
