Three thugs beat, rob couple at knifepoint in Excelsior district

Three thugs beat and robbed a man and woman at knifepoint in the Excelsior early Friday morning, cops said.

The victims were walking in the 400 block of Moscow Street around 6 a.m. when the goons attacked. Two of the thugs knocked the man to the ground, punching and kicking him, while the third hoodlum held a knife to the woman’s throat and covered her mouth to prevent her from screaming, police said.

The crooks fleeced the beaten man while he lay on the ground and fled. He was treated at the hospital for his injuries, which weren’t believed to be life threatening. The woman was unharmed.

No arrests have been made.
