The Daily Outrage: It's not such a great problem to have

Who: General Services Administration

What: Reported in the 2009 Federal Real Property Report that the number of underused buildings grew 4 percent in 2009, while the amount it costs agencies to operate buildings with underused areas increased 63 percent to $1.66 billion. Meanwhile the government has slowed its disposal of underused buildings and land parcels.

Why it's an outrage: The federal government literally has more property than it knows what to do with, and yet it is still asking taxpayers to foot the bill.

Where to vent: Call the inspector general at 800-424-5210.
