Teenager stabbed on Muni bus remains in critical condition 

A teenager stabbed multiple times aboard a Muni bus remained in critical condition Friday morning, according to police.

The 18-year-old victim was riding an outbound 14-Mission bus in the Outer Mission when he got into a fight with a 19-year-old man at about 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

The pair continued arguing until the bus neared Mission Street and Foote Avenue, where the 19-year-old stabbed the victim, Rose said.

The victim suffered multiple stab wounds, and was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, police Lt. Lyn Tomioka said.

The alleged stabber ran away from the bus on foot with an unidentified female passenger, Rose said.

No arrests have been made in the case.
