Sting nets arrests in world’s oldest profession 

A half-dozen alleged prostitutes and a man trying to pay for sex were arrested during a police sting operation in the area of California and Larkin streets, cops said.

The sting occurred between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 2 a.m. Thursday, police said. Most of the people arrested were from out of town, they said.
