Police are warning South San Francisco residents about a grabby creep that may have tried to abduct a schoolgirl Monday morning.
The suspect, described as a short black man with dreadlocks, grabbed the juvenile by the arm and tried to pull her away as she was walking in the 700 block of Camaritas Avenue around 8:45 a.m.
She demanded that he let go and was able to free herself from the perv. She escaped to a nearby school and was not injured, police said.
The suspect is described as standing between 5-feet 5-inches with a medium build and shoulder length black and brown dreadlocks. He wore a red or orange baseball cap with the letter “T” on the front, a blue or green short-sleeved shirt, dark pants and red Nike Air Jordan shoes, police said. He also had two stud piercings on the right side of his neck and a barbell piercing on the upper portion of his left ear.
Anyone with information regarding this or similar incidents should call Corporal Souza at the South San Francisco Police Department at (650) 877-8900.
