They’ve been inseparable since hooking up some months ago — but are Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer really ready for marriage and kids? The new OK! cover story claims that the couple are planning a fall wedding, while Star counters with the proposition that Jen wants to have John’s baby.
“No way would she still be with anyone if marriage wasn’t a real option,” a Jen insider allegedly told OK!
According to the tabloid, former “Friends” co-star and BFF Courteney Cox would be the matron of honor, and Courteney’s daughter Coco the flower girl. But in contrast with her lavish 2000 nuptials to Brad Pitt, Jen allegedly would keep the ceremony low-key this time around: “She doesn’t want anything elaborate or showy.”
Meanwhile, Star claims that Jen’s reaction to Brangelina’s newborn twins was to inform a friend, “It’s my turn now.” Another source tells the mag, “Jen feels so strongly that John is ‘the one.’ She knows he can handle being a dad.”
However, Jen’s rep denied both stories to rival tabloid Us — and we’re inclined to believe him. Seriously, John Mayer going from player to married man, much less dad, in six months flat? We just don’t buy it.
Teen sensations Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers have always dodged questions about the rumored romance between them. But now Miley is finally coming clean about the fact that they were “in love” — and she was heartbroken when they split.
“We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” Miley recalls in Seventeen. “He was on a quest to meet me, and he was like, ‘I think you’re beautiful and I really like you.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, I like you so much.’” (Like, OMG!)
“Nick and I loved each other,” the “Hannah Montana” star admits. “We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people. We were arguing a lot, and it really wasn’t fun.”
After the breakup, she says, “at first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk.” But now, she’s made peace with being single: “I’ve realized that I’ve met so many great guys, but I like being the girl nobody can have.”
Will they get back together? It’s not impossible, Miley says: “Maybe he’ll be my best friend for the rest of my life or maybe I’ll end up marrying Nick Jonas!” Not if his millions of rabid prepubescent fans can stop her.
Well, it certainly has been an eventful week for Morgan Freeman. Just days after the actor flipped his car in a Mississippi accident, then underwent surgery to repair the ensuing arm and hand damage, his rep announced that the “Dark Knight” star is separating from his wife of 24 years.
Morgan and costumer Myrna Colley-Lee “are involved in a divorce action,” a lawyer told “Access Hollywood,” noting that the spouses, “for legal and practical purposes, have been separated since December of 2007.”
Wonder if this could possibly have anything to do with the female family friend who was in the car with Morgan? Just an idle question.
