Scoop: Paris Hilton unfazed by cocaine charges

Paris Hilton has to know she leads a charmed life. That must be why she’s totally unconcerned about her Friday arrest for alleged cocaine possession. The heiress is telling people she’s “not worried about it,” sources told TMZ, and is convinced the bust is no biggie.

The celebutante was taken into custody on Las Vegas’ Sunset Strip on Friday night, after cops stopped her sport utility vehicle because they smelled marijuana. To escape gawkers, Paris asked to go inside the nearby Wynn Hotel, where, per a police sergeant, she “pulled out a tube of lip balm,” and “at the same time ... a bindle of cocaine in a plastic bag came out of her purse.”

She was charged with felony drug possession. After being booked around 2 a.m., she was released less than an hour later. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, the driver, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

“I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law,” Paris’ attorney said.

Think she’ll beat the rap?

Fantasia speaks

Fantasia Barrino is opening up about her controversial relationship with married man Antwaun Cook, who she believed was separated from his wife while they were together.

“I just want people to know he was a good guy,” the singer told the Los Angeles Times. “I think everybody hates him right now. Whatever he’s done was OK because we weren’t really together like that.”

Though Antwaun’s wife named Fantasia as the other woman in divorce papers, the “American Idol” winner said, “He was separated. And I don’t think I would have been attracted to him if he wasn’t. I don’t have to have anybody else’s.

“He’s not a bad guy. I’m not a bad girl. And, he didn’t do anything wrong.”

Hardball ‘Housewives’

It should come as no surprise to “Real Housewives” fans that the women of the New York edition play hardball with negotiations. The cast members who have been asked by Bravo to return for Season 4 are reportedly holding out for the kind of salaries the “Jersey Shore” cast are making at MTV.

“The ladies are upset because they are making a lot less than Snooki,” who is said to net $30,000 an episode, an insider told the New York Post. “They’ve got a lot more to say.”

Living on only $4,000 per episode, “RHONY” divas like Jill Zarin and Kelly Killoren Bensimon “have little choice but to pimp themselves out with side gigs to bump up their earnings,” the source said.

Wait, wasn’t the whole point of this franchise — that these people were rich to begin with?
