San Francisco man's drunken tale puzzles police

San Francisco cops don’t know what to make of a drunken man’s tale about how he was forced to strip naked during a kidnapping and robbery Monday, they said.

The 34-year-old man was “very intoxicated” when he called police from his Portola home around 11:30 p.m. He said gun-toting thugs had approached his car earlier in the night and demanded that he strip naked and get in the backseat.

According to the man, the thugs then drove the man to his home in the 600 block of Silliman Street, where they fled with his wallet and cash.
