San Francisco man caught with stolen booze in playground 

San Francisco police dealt with two alcohol-related incidents on Monday, among other crimes.

Geary Boulevard and Steiner Street
9:50 a.m. Monday

A 47-year-old San Francisco man was arrested in Kimbell Playground, police said. The officer on the scene thought the man in the playground was suspicious and upon investigation found he was in possession of a liquor bottle stolen from a nearby grocery store.

Haight Street and Masonic Avenue
10:30 p.m. Monday

A 23-year-old Cole Valley man was arrested for being drunk in public, cops said.

800 block of The Embarcadero
11:30 a.m. Monday

A 45-year-old woman heard noises coming from downstairs her residence, cops said. When she went down to investigate she found a man of unknown age rifling through her drawers. The crook fled.

200 block of Woodside Avenue
Overnight Sunday to Monday

A parked car’s tires were slashed, police said.
