San Francisco firefighters control Glen Park apartment building fire 

A three-alarm structure fire at an apartment building in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood was under control at 7 a.m., a fire lieutenant said.

The San Francisco Fire Department responded to the fire at 4020 Mission St. around 5:50 a.m., a fire dispatcher said. Mission Street near Bosworth Street and Alemany Boulevard remains closed.

No injuries have been reported, but San Francisco Animal Care and Control is on the scene rescuing several pets.
