Red Carpet: Fine art patrons glitter at winter gala 

Mid Winter Gala: Last week at the Legion of Honor, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco held the seventh annual Junior Committee gala benefit, a gathering of 400 young arts patrons and leaders. The event, which saluted the “Cartier and America” exhibition, was presented by honorary chairs Vanessa Getty and Trevor Traina, and co-chairs Allison Speer and Kathryn Lasater.

 

Livin’ la dolce vita

La Dolce Vita: La Piccola Scuola Italiana’s annual fundraiser, held March 6 at Bimbo’s 365 Club, raised some $140,000 to benefit the school’s Reggio Emilia-inspired Italian language program for young children. Nearly 300 guests attended the gala, which featured fine Italian dining, silent and live auctions and dancing.

 

Roberta Armani in The City

Roberta Armani appearances: The niece of the famed Italian designer was in San Francisco last week to visit the Giorgio Armani Boutique on Post Street and for a private reception at Neiman Marcus.
