Red Carpet: Fashion supports arthritis group 

Bay Area Arthritis Auxiliary Fashion Show: On Thursday at the Westin St. Francis Hotel, the BAAA held its seventh annual
fashion show, a major fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation’s Northern California chapter, which supports research and
legislative advocacy efforts. Designs by Colleen Quen were featured at the event, which raised some $62,000.

 

Fur flies at zoo gala

The Fur Ball: Zoo II, the young professionals group supporting the San Francisco Zoo, hosted a gala at the zoo’s Great Hall on Oct. 2. Guests from the Animal Rescue Center — including an alligator, armadillo, ball python, ferret and peregrine falcon — were featured, along with refreshments and a silent auction. Proceeds from the event go to zoo community and education programs.

 

Joseph Cozza salon celebrates 25 years

Joseph Cozza salon relocates: Hair stylist Joseph Cozza celebrated the 25th anniversary of his salon with a party Sept. 27 in its new landmark location at 77 Maiden Lane in The City. The 9,300-square-foot space is touted as Northern California's largest full-service salon.
