  • Quarterback Terrelle Pryor reportedly wants out of Oakland after the Raiders traded for quarterback Matt Schaub.
Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor has expressed his desire to be traded or released, Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie told reporters at Monday’s NFL meetings.

“He has talked to his agent about it,” McKenzie told NFL.com. “He had him talk to me about it. ... Terrelle wants to start so bad.”

On Friday, the Raiders traded for veteran quarterback Matt Schaub from the Houston Texans. Coach Dennis Allen said Schaub was brought in to be the starter.

Pryor started nine games for the Raiders in 2013, throwing for 1,798 yards and running for 576 yards. The Raiders also have quarterback Matt McGloin, who started six games last year, on their roster.

NFL approves Raiders’ lease: League owners will address a myriad of potential rules changes and bylaws adjustments this week at the NFL meetings, but only approved one item Monday: a one-year extension of the Raiders’ stadium lease in Oakland.

Earlier in the day, Raiders owner Mark Davis reiterated, “We’re trying to get something done in Oakland” for a new home. The Raiders originally signed the extension on Nov. 25.

Goodell, union to meet on workplace environment: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says the league will meet on April 8 with the players union to discuss improving the workplace environment. In the wake of the Miami Dolphins bullying scandal, league representatives have met with some 40 players in the last three months, as well as with the Dolphins and outside organizations, Goodell said Monday at the NFL owners meetings. The league is trying to get “as much input as possible. It’s more about people understanding the importance of a proper workplace.”
