A brief power outage in the Mission District left 3,000 people without power and affected Muni's light rail for roughly 15 minutes, according to transit officials.
The power outage was reported to PG&E just after 2 p.m., according to PG&E officials. It affected 3,000 people along the 15th Street corridor between Harrison and Market streets.
The outage only lasted until 2:30 p.m., according to PG&E, but not before it affected Muni service.
For that 30 minute period, underground trains were not stopping at the Church Street station, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Spokesman Paul Rose said.
Shuttles were operating before and after the station to bring people to the area.
PG&E does not know what caused the outage and said crews are still investigating.
