Portions of Lincoln Boulevard in the Presidio will be closed next week as part of the ongoing project to replace Doyle Drive.
The street will be closed between Storey Avenue and Crissy Field Avenue from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. During that time, construction crews will work on installing temporary supports for the new southbound viaduct for the Presidio Parkway, the $1.1 billion freeway set to replace Doyle Drive, the aging southern approach to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Motorists are advised to use Storey Avenue as an alternative to Lincoln Boulevard. Detour signs will lead them back to the open portions of Lincoln.
