Police arrest four men in San Francisco on child porn charges

Four men were arrested Tuesday after police raided six San Francisco homes where child pornography was allegedly being kept and distributed.

Search warrants were reportedly served at homes in the Excelsior, Oceanview, Visitacion Valley and South of Market neighborhoods as part of a Bay Area-wide sting.

Police said a raid in the 700 block of Naples Street led to the arrest of 25-year-old Alexi Alexis Zhong Wang, and Guillermo Escandon-Aguilar, 28, was picked up in the 200 block of Russia Avenue. Also arrested were 46-year-old Jaime Rodriguez in the 500 block of Natoma Street and 28-year-old Juan Martinez in the first block of Cielito Drive.

The suspects were booked into San Francisco County Jail on felony charges of possession of child pornography.
In total, police said, six search warrants were served.

“Investigations will continue in the two cases that did not result in arrests,” police spokesman Sgt. Michael Andraychak said.

Unlike searching for child porn distributors through online chat room decoy operations, police said, investigators are catching more suspects by tracking their IP addresses and carrying out search warrants on homes.
