Friday's games

Woodside at Los Altos, 3:15 p.m.
After a bye week, Woodside looks to earn its first win of the season. The Wildcats will have their hands full with the Eagles, who won by 50 last week.

Burlingame at Gunn, 3:30 p.m.
After a hard-fought loss to Palo Alto last week, Burlingame takes on a Titans team fresh off a
39-0 trouncing of Yerba Buena.

Leigh at Half Moon Bay, 6 p.m.
The Cougars bounced back from a season-opening loss with a 39-14 victory over Scotts Valley last week.

Aragon at Lincoln (San Jose), 7 p.m.
The Dons prepare for their first road contest off the year and will be looking to bounce back after losing to crosstown rival San Mateo last week.

Carlmont at San Mateo, 7 p.m.
The Bearcats look to carry the momentum from a victory over Aragon into their matchup with the Scots. Carlmont has been up and down through two games, earning a big win and suffering a lopsided loss.

Hillsdale at San Jose, 7 p.m.
The Knights have been impressive in their first two victories, outscoring opponents by a combined 54-9.

M-A at Jefferson, 7 p.m.
The Bears have struggled in their first two contests and now hit the road for the first time this season. Meanwhile, the Indians are 1-1 and coming off a narrow 13-12 loss to San Marin.

Monta Vista at South S.F., 7 p.m.
After having last week’s game canceled, the Warriors hope to move to 2-0 on the year.

Terra Nova at Pioneer, 7 p.m.
While the Tigers own an 0-2 record, they have played two quality teams tough. This is the second of three straight road games for Terra Nova.

Sacred Heart Prep vs. Valley Christian (Dublin) at Chabot College , 7 p.m.
The Gators have been one of the more impressive teams on the Peninsula in the early season, racking up impressive wins over San Lorenzo Valley and Riordan.

- Encinal at Serra, 1 p.m.
- Christopher at Capuchino, 1 p.m.
- Crystal Springs Uplands at Alma Heights, 1 p.m.
- Lincoln at El Camino, 2 p.m.
- Menlo at Justin-Siena, 7 p.m.
