These are excerpts from Peninsula police departments’ daily log of activities. Incidents are listed by city.

Belmont

Shed break-in: A caller reported at 8:22 a.m. May 12 on Biddulph Way that unknown suspects broke into a storage shed at a preschool sometime that weekend.

Millbrae

Loose limbed: Winds caused a tree limb to fall and cause minor damage to a car parked under the tree on the corner of Broadway and Hillcrest Boulevard before 7:18 p.m. May 20.

Burlingame

Height restriction: A truck hit the roof of a gas station on the 1000 block of Broadway before 1:02 a.m. May 13.

San Bruno

Trash takers: Two men were "Dumpster diving" and taking cardboard from a Dumpster on the 1200 block of El Camino Real before 2:19 p.m. May 13.

San Mateo

Aloha: A caller reported at 6 p.m. May 17 from South B Steet that a man wearing a Hawaiian shirt was harassing and hitting her on Baldwin Avenue.

Foster City

Mother-daughter argument: A reporting party at the front counter at Pizza Hut on Triton Drive requested to speak to an officer at 1:31 p.m. May 19 about her mother slapping her. The party declined prosecution and the mother denied the incident occurred.

Redwood City

Locate GPS: At 6:16 a.m. May 19 on Arguello Street, a car burglary was reported that had occurred overnight via the driver’s side window. A GPS system was stolen.

South City

No ice cream for you: A parent reported at 4:21 p.m. May 21 from Orange Park on Tennis Drive that an ice-cream man hit her son in the head with his hand.
