Arcade Fire, Muse and Phish will take the stage in Golden Gate Park this August as part of the fourth Outside Lands music festival, according to event organizers.
The headliners are among more than 60 bands and musicians scheduled to appear during the three-day festival, which runs Aug. 12 to 14.
On Monday, Another Planet Entertainment, in conjunction with Superfly Presents and Starr Hill Presents, announced veteran performers such as The Decemberists, The Black Keys, Erykah Badu, John Fogerty, the Original Meters, the Roots and Mick Jones’ recently reunited Big Audio Dynamite also will be there. Phish will perform two sets.
The lineup also includes dozens of up-and-coming acts such as Best Coast, Foster The People, The Joy Formidable and the Vaccines.
Other named performers include Deadmau5, Girl Talk, Beirut, Arctic Monkeys, STS9, Warren Haynes Band, Big Boi, Major Lazer, Little Dragon, Julietta Venegas, Sia, OK Go, Greyboy Allstars, Josh Ritter and The Royal City Band, The Old 97s, Mavis Staples, !!!, Latryx featuring Lyrics Born and Lateef, Collie Buddz, Phantogram, Charles Bradley, Lotus, STRFKR, Junip and Pajama Party, among others.
General-admission tickets will go on sale Thursday. Fans wanting to grab tickets for all three days will be able to buy them for $175. Once those early tickets sell out, the price will increase to $185 for all three days. Late decision makers will have to pay $200 to get in, after the $185 price tier sells out.
