Occupy SF protesters took their message directly to the police Wednesday evening when a group of the demonstrators attended the San Francisco Police Commission meeting.

The protesters spoke during the public comment period of the commission, which is the citizen oversight agency of the San Francisco Police Department.

One protester, who identified herself only as Zoe, said she was one of the protesters who was arrested Sunday night during a confrontation with police officers over the camp the demonstrators had pitched at Justin Herman Plaza.

Police Chief Greg Suhr also spoke to the commission Wednesday evening about the Occupy SF arrests on Sunday, saying that it was a fringe element of the demonstrators that became violent during the confrontation with police.

As for the Occupy SF protesters, it was the second time in two days that the demonstrators took their message to City Hall. On Tuesday, protesters marched to City Hall and then heckled Mayor Ed Lee during question time as he was asked about the ongoing demonstrations.
