Natalie to join the ‘Raider’ nation

Throw her the idol and she’ll throw you the whip. Rumor has it Natalie Portman will play Harrison Ford’s daughter in the eagerly anticipated fourth "Indiana Jones" movie.

Karen Allen, who played Jones’ love interest, Marion, in "Raiders of the Lost Ark," let it slip during a Q&A after a 25th anniversary screening of the 1981 adventure classic in New York.

"I just heard Natalie Portman was cast as Indy’s daughter," Allen reportedly said.

"She immediately changed the subject as if she knew she

shouldn’t have said anything," a witness told Hollywood.com.

Portman does have a working relationship with "Indiana Jones" producer George Lucas, after suffering through the three "Star Wars" prequels, so the idea of her taking the role of the globetrotting archeologist’s kid is not so farfetched.

Allen played coy when asked if she would be reprising her role, but Ford and Sean Connery, who played Jones’ father, are slated to return. Jake Gyllenhaal, who is allegedly dating Portman, is also rumored to be attached to the movie.

How about ‘The Bachelorette: Shannen Doherty Edition’?

Shannen Doherty says she has learned from her past mistakes in relationships and she’s ready to settle down. "I don’t need to settle for anything less than Mr. Right," Doherty told "Extra." "I’m a little too old to be making the same mistakes!"

The twice-divorced actress formerly known as Brenda Walsh is making the publicity rounds promoting her new Oxygen reality show, "Trials of Love," in which Doherty helps people end their bad relationships.

Doherty claims she wants to get out and meet men, but she’s hiding behind the ol’ "I’m busy with work excuse."

"Here’s the funny part. I never leave the house so I don’t know how I’m gonna find him," Doherty said. "The guy who delivers the newspaper? Are you cute? I hope so ’cause that’s the guy I’m gonna meet. … Seriously! I go to work and I come home. Don’t laugh at me! It’s true!"

Sienna gets herself a new man

Speaking of learning from past mistakes, perhaps Sienna Miller is finally moving on from cheatin’ former fiancé Jude Law.

Miller and her "Camille" co-star James Franco, were spotted looking oh-so-cozy in a matinee of "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest" in Toronto.

"They kept snuggling up to each other and touching," a spy told Us Weekly. After the flick, the couple spent the day lounging in the sun.

"They sat outside, and he played with her hair," a witness said.

Yeah! Take that, Jude!

Worst. Duet. Ever.

Mr. Britney Spears, aka Kevin Federline, and his other babies’ mama, Shar Jackson, are planning on working together.

The wannabe rapper has agreed to sing backup vocals on Jackson’s remake of Bobby Brown’s "Get Away" for her upcoming album.

"He hasn’t told Britney about it,"an insider told Star magazine. "And when she finds out, I think she’ll go ballistic."

Hey, Spears won’t be half as mad as the people who hear the song. And, the last time Jackson and Federline worked together she ended up with two kids, so hopefully, she’s learned her lesson.

Lindsay plays hide and seek

It appears that Lindsay Lohan’s latest love interest needs more experience dealing with the paparazzi.

Lohan’s new conquest, Hard Rock Hotel heir Harry Morton, who also owns Mexican restaurant chain Pink Taco, tried to protect the "Prairie Home Companion" star from the

stalkerazzi when the couple was leaving Los Angeles nightclub Guy’s.

Lohan used the celebrity classic "hood over the head" move, while Morton ushered her into his Mercedes, but not until after he climbed into the backseat. Then, in a true rookie move, Morton’s driver tapped a photographer with his car and forgot to pay the valet. Then, Lohan had to get out and face the flashbulbs, while Morton paid the man. And, of course, the fine folks at TMZ

.com caught the whole thing on video.
