A shooting in Hunters Point Tuesday occurred just blocks from the bus stop where a man was killed and his girlfriend wounded by gunfire the day before.

Three people in a vehicle were fired upon in the 1300 block of Fairfax Avenue about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, police said. No one was hit by bullets, but a 44-year-old woman reportedly received a minor injury after being struck by vehicle debris.

The other two occupants in the car were men ages 18 and 19, police said.

The suspects fled in a 4-door beige sedan. No suspect descriptions were available and no arrest had been made as of Wednesday morning, police said.

A few blocks away on Monday, JaQuan "Dutch" Rice, 19, of San Francisco and his girlfriend were shot at the bus stop at West Point and Middle Point roads about 1 p.m. Rice died at San Francisco General Hospital while his girlfriend remained in the hospital Tuesday.

Derrick Hunter, 20, and a 14-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the shooting, police said.

It wasn't immediately known if the shootings were related.
