The Duggar family is famous for overpopulating the planet and basically being a living, breathing birth control ad with their TLC reality show, "19 Kids and Counting" — or, as it is soon to be called, "20 Kids and Counting." Yep, Michelle Duggar, 45, is expecting another little bundle of ratings.

If you watch the show (really?), then you probably know that the last baby born to the Duggar clan was premature at just 25 weeks. I suspect that's because the babies just fall out of Michelle's uterus at this point. It's like a Slip-n-Slide.

Jim Bob Duggar said on "Today" that he is excited for the newest addition to their litter. Of course he is. It's not his body popping out these kids like a salad shooter.

"Michelle and I both feel like some of the most blessed parents in the world,” he said. "We didn't want to stop on an odd number."

Sure, why not? Having an odd number of children is just as good a reason as any to have more kids. Actually, I think the Duggars are just starting their own protest: Occupy Michelle Duggard's Uterus.

Ratner apologizes for using gay slur

You know what's awesome about director Brett Ratner? Nothing.

During a screening of his latest crime against your eyeballs, "Tower Heist," Ratner used the f-word when asked about his rehearsal process during filming. No, not that f-word — the other f-word.

"Rehearsal? What's that? Rehearsal's for f#%s," he boasted.

Of course, once word spread about what he said, the world-renowned creep — who is producing and directing this year's Academy Awards — issued an apology to TheWrap.com.

"I apologize for any offense my remarks caused," he said. "It was a dumb way of expressing myself. Everyone who knows me knows that I don't have a prejudiced bone in my body. But as a storyteller I should have been much more thoughtful about the power of language and my choice of words."

No word yet on when Ratner will be issuing an apology for his apology in which he described himself as a "storyteller." Also, he should issue an apology for "X-Men 3."

There was public outcry for Ratner to be ousted from his Oscar gig, but producers of the awards telecast are sticking with him for now.

Katy, Russell's long-distance woes

Here's some news that should surprise no one: Katy Perry and Russell Brand are having marital problems.

The "Teenage Dream" singer and the comedian have spent months apart due to their hectic work schedules. Perry is playing to packed concert venues, while Brand has been making movies back to back, which are sure to play to tens of people.

The couple is hoping to rekindle their relationship with a trip to India where they got hitched last year.

"Russell and Katy have both agreed that the time they spend apart has been extremely tough and that they need to spend some quality time away together so that they can reconnect as a couple," a nosy busy body told The Daily Mirror.
