Man tells cops bicycle sold to pawn shop while he was away 

San Francisco police fielded calls on allegedly pawned bicycles, broken windows and vandalized cars this week.

300 block of Capistrano Avenue
12:30 p.m. Tuesday

A man told police his roommate had pawned his bicycle, police said. The victim had been away from home for some time and noticed his bike was missing upon his return. The victim said his roommate admitted to pawning the bike. The victim is not able to retrieve his bike because the roommate won’t sign the release form.

Foerester Street and Monterey Boulevard
9:15 a.m. Tuesday

An unknown gunman fired a BB gun at a moving car, police said. The victim told police that while he was driving an object came through his windshield before striking the passenger side window causing it to break.

3200 block of 26th Street
5:35 p.m. Sunday

The crook knew the time. A man was robbed at knifepoint by a thug who asked the victim for the time, police said. The victim said he didn’t know. The crook pulled out a 6-inch knife and demanded the victim’s cash and cellphone. Then it was time to flee.

800 block of San Jose
Midnight Tuesday

A car was vandalized with graffiti, police said.
