Achievement  The jewelry maker won the Jewelers’ Choice Award, a coveted industry prize recognizing jewelry designers and manufacturers for the best designs of the year. His two designs were chosen from more than 400 selections.

Achievement  The music producer started Red Marines Music and Arts festival, held Sept. 26-28 in La Honda, to benefit war veterans, including his two brothers who fought in Iraq. The festival’s proceeds will be donated to San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
