It’s a good question – where on Earth has that one-omnipresent metal outfit Korn disappeared to?

To the Frankenstein laboratory, apparently, where Jonathan Davis and crew have been busy pouring test tubes into beakers, reinventing themselves for the digital age.

With jolts to its electrodes on Dec. 6, the monster lives as “The Path Of Totality,” with a national juggernaut dubbed “The P.O.T. Tour” (of course) to follow; no Bay Area dates announced just yet, however.

Maybe you have an idea just how advanced Korn has gotten if you’ve heard the kickoff single “Get Up!,” which boasts an appearance from electronic artist Skrillex.

Next: the single “Narcissistic Cannibal,” featuring Skrillex and Kill The Noize.

Elsewhere on “Path,” Korn pairs with worldwide dubstep pioneers like Excision, Datsik, Noisia, Feed Me and 12th Planet.

They’ve really gotten involved with a whole new underground sound. And each P.O.T. date will include live sets from them and Dope D.O.D., plus DJ sets from Datsik and Downlink.
