Kim Kardashian insists her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries wasn’t just a scam or sham for money designed for profit and publicity.

“Just because it’s short doesn’t mean it’s fake,” she says, according to TMZ. And to prove it, she’s donating the money she got for gifts to charity.

“I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show when I probably should have ended my relationship,” Kim, who was wed in August in a lavish ceremony filed for E!, blogged. “I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.”

Though a Radar Online source asserts that Kim is “totally insecure and addicted to fame,” the star maintains that she married for love.

“I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision,” she said. “I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have.”

“There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding,” Kim wrote in her blog. “These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this.”

“I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation,” the reality star said.

Donating money is all well and good, Kim, but how about also returning the gifts to the people who paid for them? We saw your registry, and it’s an understatement to say that there wasn’t a single bargain item on it!

ScarJo Exposed

Remember those hacked and leaked nude photos of Scarlett Johansson? They were her, all right — though the actress says there was absolutely nothing wrong with her taking the shots.

“They were sent to my husband,” ScarJo told Vanity Fair magazine, referring to then-spouse Ryan Reynolds. “There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like I was shooting a porno.

“Although there’s nothing wrong with that either,” she added.

No doubt many people would agree — although some of them might think there was nothing wrong with hacking and leaking nude photos, either. And for the record, people, there is!

On Again?

Denise Richards and former beau Richie Sambora are evidently seeing each other once more.

“They are dating again,” a source told Radar Online.

The pair caused a mild scandal with their short-lived 2006-07 hookup — since Denise was a pal of Richie’s then-newly ex-wife Heather Locklear (who just remarried Jack Wagner … coincidence?).

Now that things have heated back up, “it is serious, but they are trying to keep it low key,” the insider said.

Think it’ll last this time?
