These days a celebrity can’t pick his or her nose without a horde of paparazzi capturing the moment for posterity. So we’re always shocked when word comes that a star has actually pulled off a secret wedding. And Kate Hudson apparently did just that — but her mother, Goldie Hawn, spilled the beans.
In an interview with a U.K. magazine, the former “Laugh-In” star alluded to the fact that her look-alike daughter was already wed to Muse rocker Matt Bellamy, the father of her son Bingham. (Kate has another son, Ryder, from her first marriage to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson.)
“My kids are fantastic with their children, they have an amazing parental ethic and I’m very proud of them for that,” Goldie declared. “When my daughter Kate married an English rock star it didn’t worry me; all that matters [is] that the relationship is a good one. What people do is not necessarily who they are.”
Gotta love a mother who shares her daughter’s personal business with the press! Congratulations on your not-so-secret marriage, Kate.
As rumors swirl that Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown is engaged to the guy who was raised as her brother, a new report claims that Whitney’s own on-off boyfriend Ray J is lost without her. According to Radar Online, his sister Brandy has persuaded him to seek professional help dealing with his grief.
“Ray J is obviously absolutely devastated by the loss of Whitney, who he says was the love of his life,” a source told the tabloid site.
“Even though a month has passed since she died, Ray still can’t believe that Whitney is gone. He has saved voice mail messages on his cellphone from her that he has been listening to. His sister Brandy has urged him to go to counseling to deal with this loss, and he has finally agreed.”
Whoa … we had no idea he and Whitney were that serious.
Comedienne Kristen Wiig is ready for a baby — regardless of whether new beau Fabrizio Moretti is down to be a dad, In Touch magazine reports.
The “Bridesmaids” star and the Strokes drummer have only been dating for a matter of months, but the tabloid claims that at 38, Kristen feels her biological clock ticking.
“She’s worried that she’s getting too old; she either has to start trying immediately or adopt,” a source confides. “She hasn’t broached the subject with Fab yet.”
“She wants her own kids badly, but adoption is an option,” adds the insider.
Look at it this way, Kristen: When you’re a female celebrity of a certain age, and the tabloid press starts making up stories that you’re baby-crazy, it means you’ve truly arrived in Hollywood. Just ask Jennifer Aniston!
