Before the car crash that killed him and a passenger, Ryan Dunn of “Jackass” drank three beers and three shots of alcohol over the course of four hours, TMZ reported.
A friend insisted to the site that the daredevil was “not too drunk to drive”— but another patron at the West Chester, Penn., bar that night said Ryan was “wasted” and “had a lot to drink.” The bar manager, who said Ryan was a regular, told CNN, “He didn’t seem to be intoxicated at the time he left. Ryan was not a hard-core drinker, at least not when he was here.”
The fatal crash occurred around 3 a.m. Monday, and authorities say speed may have been a factor.
According to TMZ, Ryan’s Porsche went off the highway and through a guardrail, and ended up in flames. According to a police report, authorities found the vehicle “off the road and in the woods fully engulfed in flames.”
Hours before his death, Ryan tweeted a picture of himself drinking with friends. The other occupant of the vehicle had not been publicly identified as of press time.
“Jackass” star Johnny Knoxville mourned his friend over Twitter, saying, “Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.” Ryan was 34.
Remember Heidi Montag? (Sorry to remind you.) Yep, she still exists and she’s still obsessed with her body.
The former “Hills” star, who evidently has a whole lot of time on her hands these days, told Us magazine at Saturday’s Wet Republic pool party in Las Vegas, “I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I’ve been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape.”
The much-plastic-surgeried Mrs. Spencer Pratt admitted, “And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I’ve ever been because I’ve kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape.”
After her well-publicized cosmetic procedures, including ginormous breast implants and, well, pretty much whatever else you can think of, Heidi said she took a year off from hitting the gym.
“My breasts, because they’re so big, really needed some time,” the pseudo-celebrity cheerfully explained. “So I’m just starting to work out again after my surgery. Sometimes I get shooting pains, but I hear that’s normal.” Yep, totally normal.
Coincidentally, Heidi was at the pool party with Crystal Harris, Hugh Hefner’s “runaway bride,” and the two perused her Playboy spread together. Think Heidi gave Crystal any pointers on parlaying notoriety into 15 minutes of fame and a “singing career”?
Non-new couple alert! “Vampire Diaries” co-stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have reportedly been an item for as long as a year, but after dodging rumors all this time, they just made their public red-carpet debut.
The pair arrived at Canada’s MuchMusic Awards on Sunday night holding hands. And Ian declared to reporters, “Who am I most excited to see tonight? Nina Dobrev!” Awww, isn’t that cute?
