Insulin confiscated by Transportation Security Administration screeners

A pregnant and diabetic woman had her insulin and ice packs confiscated by Transportation Security Administration screeners while boarding a flight from Denver to Phoenix. But they let her syringe needles go through. The woman said she has traveled around the world with her medical supplies and never encountered any trouble. She said she had the required doctor’s note and her insulin was labeled correctly. She and her husband have now filed a formal complaint with the TSA.
