Hoodlums slash victim’s hand in Sunnydale robbery

A man was slashed in the hand and robbed by three hoodlums Tuesday in San Francisco’s Sunnydale neighborhood, police said.

The 47-year-old victim was walking from home to a bus stop near Velasco Avenue and Santos Street around 5:30 p.m. when he was tailed by three men in their 20s, cops said. Around mid-block on Velasco two of the hoodlums grabbed the victim while the third started waving a knife around.

The victim put his hand up to keep the knife away and was slashed in the hand, police said. The crooks fled with his cash.

The victim’s cut was superficial and did not require stitches, cops said. No arrests have been made.
