Hearing Monday on Muni violence

Tired of the everyday violence that happens on Muni that no one ever seemingly does anything about?

Well Monday, Supervisor Bevan Dufty will hold a hearing on the subject and is asking anyone who has ever been a victim of a crime while riding a Muni train or bus to speak out. Public comments will be held at the beginning of Monday’s 11 a.m. hearing, which will be held at City Hall Room 250.

Members of the Police Department and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority, which runs Muni, will provide updates on the stepped-up law enforcement presence on Muni vehicles.
