Group holds workshop on effects of new smoking law

In case you are curious about how San Francisco’s new smoking law affects you, California Music and Culture Association is hosting a workshop May 20 to inform venue owners and operators, industry professionals, artists and interested fans about how to comply, who is exempt and where to go for additional resources.

The workshop will include a panel of city representatives who will provide information about compliance and answer questions from attendees.  CMAC, a trade association for the entertainment community that launched in early May, seeks to educate its members and facilitate constructive communication and collaboration with law enforcement and city agencies.  The workshop starts at noon and will be held at 119 Utah St.
