Former Raider at City Hall to honor hero kids

Former Raider receiver and NFL great Tim Brown was known for good hands and keeping his cool, and that’s exactly what two San Francisco kids were honored for on Friday at City Hall.

Brown stopped by the rotunda on Friday to honor Stephan Lang, 11, and Zoey Levin, 10, whose quick thinking and deft dialing may have saved their mothers’ lives.

Levin called 911 when her mother became unconscious due to low blood sugar and Lang called 911 when his mother was having severe chest pains. Emergency dispatchers Jamie DiSangro and Dorian Lok were also honored for dispatching emergency response.

Brown is one celebrity who has been pushing for kids to be aware of how to dial for help in an emergency. Good work, Tim, now if only you could get into the Hall of Fame.
