San Francisco residents might of been confused on what day it was when an emergency siren was heard earlier this afternoon.

Emergency officials activated a warning siren this afternoon that is usually heard on Tuesdays at noon, triggering some confusion among residents.

The sirens, which sounded around 3:45 p.m., weere activated accidentally, and there was no emergency, according to the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management.
