Elderly woman knocked down, robbed of gold necklace in Excelsior

A 76-year-old woman was thrown to the ground and robbed in San Francisco’s Excelsior district Wednesday, police said.

The victim was hospitalized with hip pain during the cowardly heist near the intersection of London Street and Excelsior Avenue around 5:10 p.m.

Two heartless women in their 20s stole the woman’s gold necklace and pendant, ran to a vehicle and fled, police said.

The victim was transported to St. Luke’s hospital for her injury, cops said.

No arrests have been made.
