A man was assaulted and bitten on the cheek in an attack in the Tenderloin on Tuesday, police said.
A 36-year-old victim was apparently staring at a 31-year-old woman about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 900 block of Geary Street, police said. The woman did not appreciate the leering. She confronted the man and they began arguing.
The woman punched the man, who fell to the ground. She then bit him and fled. She was later arrested.
A man and woman were walking in the area of McAllister and Laguna streets about 10:45 p.m. when two men approached, police said. One suspect put a gun to the back of the man’s head and demanded both the man’s and woman’s cellphones.
The victims said they didn’t have any cellphones, so the crook demanded they give him “something,” police said. The victims turned over cash and the crooks fled. No arrests have been made.
A 38-year-old cabdriver was parked at a curb about 3:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Mission Street when a robber simulated having a gun inside his sweatshirt and demanded the driver’s money, police said.
The driver complied and the crook fled.
