Two young adults lost a computer and their cell phones after a gunpoint robbery in the South of Market district Thursday night, according to police.
In the area of Fourth and Shipley streets around 11:50 p.m., the 19-year-old woman and 20-year-old man were robbed of an Apple MacBook Pro computer, as well as an iPhone and a Blackberry phone, police said.
One of two crooks in their late teens or early 20s grabbed the woman’s backpack, then pushed her to the ground when she refused to give it up. The second suspect robbed the man at gunpoint, police said.
The suspects fled, and there have been no arrests, police said.
