Colbie Caillat drops by Bimbo’s in July

Colbie Caillat makes no secret of the fact — she does her absolute best to pay special attention to all of her fans, at all times. She shares unreleased mixes with them, asks their opinions on things, and goes out of her way to say hello them after her concerts. But this summer, she’s going one step further in her closeness campaign.

To preview her new “All Of You” effort that hits the streets July 12, she’s returning to the intimate clubs where she first got started with three low-priced fan appreciation shows. July 12, she’ll play New York’s Canal Room; July 14, The Troubadour in L.A., and on July 15, she’ll be dropping by San Francisco’s chic Bimbo’s 365 Club.

These rare gigs are not to be missed.

And Caillat has a few sonic surprises in store on the album, as well. Like her flamenco-fueled experiment “Brighter Than The Sun,” or “Favorite Song,” which she co-wrote with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder and recent White House guest Common. She herself is no stranger to the presidential digs — she sang the national anthem there, with President Barack Obama and the first family standing right beside her. She sang it again for the 2011 NFL-season kickoff, and also performed at the Nobel Peace Concert in Oslo. And it all started with her ridiculously addictive debut single, “Bubbly,” which set her on her Grammy-winning, multiplatinum path.

A full theater tour is being lined up for fall — keep up with the dates at www.colbiecaillat.com.
