Looks like Chris Brown could use a few more anger-management classes. The R&B singer reportedly flipped out and smashed a dressing-room window after a tense Tuesday morning interview on “Good Morning America.”
Chris, attempting to promote new album “F.A.M.E.,” wasn’t happy when Robin Roberts tried to grill him about the aftermath of his assault on then-girlfriend Rihanna two years ago. (The TV journalist insists he approved the touchy questions in question before the interview, and that she was not trying to ambush him.)
After their sit-down and a performance, TMZ reports, he stormed into his dressing room shouting so loudly that the hair and makeup team called security.
“He was visibly upset and appeared livid after the interview,” a source with a knack for understatement told People magazine.
According to TMZ, Chris proceeded to shatter a window, sending glass onto the street, before ripping off his shirt and storming out, bailing on a second scheduled performance for the network. On his way out, he’s said to have had a standoff with a segment producer for the show before staffers separated them.
“I’m so over people bringing this past [expletive] up!!!” Chris fumed in a post-show tweet that was later deleted.
Well, Chris, this certainly wasn’t the best way to help people move on from seeing you as a violent guy.
Billy Ray Cyrus isn’t the only one who thinks his family’s dynamic has improved. Wife Tish and daughter Miley are evidently also excited about mending fences.
After the country singer filed for divorce from his wife of 17 years and made comments about “Hannah Montana” destroying the family, his tween-icon daughter was reportedly furious. But he recently withdrew his petition and announced his intent to save the marriage. And though she still won’t open up about her dad, a source tells People magazine, “Miley seems happier and more relaxed in the past few days.”
“When Tish is having a hard time, Miley spends more time with her,” the source says. “Now [that] the divorce is called off, Tish is doing better and Miley is getting her life back.”
For her part, Tish declared on Facebook, “Our family weathered a huge storm and I feel we are stronger than we have ever been.”
We’re glad to hear it. Maybe Miley spending more time at home with her mom wasn’t such a bad thing?
Most rockers’ memoirs detail close encounters with groupies — but Sammy Hagar’s covers a close encounter of the extraterrestrial kind. Yes, the Van Halen frontman believes aliens made contact and experimented on him.
“It was real,” Sammy says in an interview discussing his upcoming book, “Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock.”
“[Aliens] were plugged into me. It was a download situation. This was long before computers or any kind of wireless. There weren’t even wireless telephones. Looking back now, it was like, ‘[Expletive], they downloaded something into me!’ Or they uploaded something from my brain, like an experiment.”
Sorry, Sammy, but if you think you’re going to out-crazy Charlie Sheen, it’s going to take a lot more than an alien-abduction story.
