CCSF, CSM will each host a bowl game 

Both the City College of San Francisco and College of San Mateo football teams qualified for bowl games, the California Community College Athletic Association announced Sunday.

CCSF finished the regular season at 7-3 after a 47-18 loss to the No. 1 team in the state, Butte, on Saturday. The Rams will host Sierra College (6-4) in the San Francisco Community College Bowl on Dec. 7 at noon.

Meanwhile, CSM (9-1) will host American River College (8-2) on Saturday at noon in the Bothman Bulldog Bowl. The game will feature the No. 2- and No. 3-ranked teams in Northern California.

CSM’s only loss this season came against Butte.
