A cab driver was robbed of cash in the Mission district early Wednesday, police said.

The 38-year-old male victim was parked at the curb about 3:30 a.m. in the 2200 block of Mission Street when an unknown suspect who simulated having a gun inside his sweatshirt demanded the driver’s money, police said.

The driver complied and the crook fled. No arrest has been made.
