  • Bryan Stow's family released a Thanksgiving photo of the San Francisco Giants fan, which drew numerous comments about how the beaten Giants fan is recovering.

A Thanksgiving photo released by the family of brutally beaten Giants fan Bryan Stow shows the formally bed-ridden 42-year-old looking happy and relatively healthy.

The photo, displayed on the family’s website, drew numerous comments noting Stow’s strong appearance and his hair having grown back.

“HAPPY THANKSGIVING (belated) Bryan and Stow Family! Thank you so much for sharing this picture with us! Bryan looks strong and his hair looks fantastic!” one commenter wrote.

Since he was beaten by two men in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium after the March 31 Opening Day game between the Giants and Dodgers, Stow has been hospitalized in Los Angeles and San Francisco. In October, Stow was moved from the care of brain trauma doctors at San Francisco General Hospital to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility in the Bay Area.

“It has been a long time since our whole family was together on Thanksgiving and we could not feel more thankful and blessed,” the site update says.

Stow, who spent months in a coma following the incident, has shown serious signs of improvement in recent weeks, talking with loved ones and writing his name.
