Rolling Stone magazine’s decision to put Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev on its cover has unleashed a “Sharknado” of criticism.

The magazine is running a story about the teen’s transformation into radical Islam but has been accused of sexy-fying the suspect. The Chicago Tribune reported that #BoycottRollingStone has been trending on Twitter in what some are calling a “rock star” treatment of an alleged terrorist.

The photo Rolling Stone chose does indeed look like a similar shot they ran of Jim Morrison way back when. It also doesn’t help that Tsarnaev, aka “Jahar,” has legions of young female fans who act like he’s some jihadi hottie who’s been wrongfully accused.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has to be asking himself, “What’s he got that I ain’t got?”
