Bobby Brown wants to attend Whitney Houston’s funeral — but members of her family don’t want him there, TMZ reports. The New Edition singer is said to be “extremely disappointed” by the situation, as he wants to be present to support daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Whitney’s only child was reportedly hospitalized twice over the weekend in the wake of the devastating news of her mother’s death. Her father flew to Los Angeles to be by her side after learning this, but allegedly was not allowed to see her. Brown is said to believe Whitney’s mother Cissy is responsible for keeping them apart.
According to TMZ, Brown hasn’t officially been barred from the funeral service, and hopes Whitney’s family will “set aside their differences so they all can focus on mourning the loss of their loved one.”
Indeed — and on providing Bobbi Kristina as much support as possible.
So, what’s really going on with Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush? The former couple were allegedly sighted getting flirty together over brunch last weekend, and the buzz is that they may be getting back together. But a source tells People magazine that so far they haven’t moved back out of the friend zone.
“They don’t know what will happen,” the source confides. “They’re taking it slow. They love each other so much and miss each other, but their relationship is so complicated.”
Before Kim’s infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, she and the NFL running back had a long-term relationship that was reportedly undermined by their respective professional commitments. (We’re still not sure what exactly hers are, but whatever.)
These days, “things are up in the air,” says the source. “Kim very much wants to take her time and be single and heal from her divorce.”
Well, this wouldn’t be the first time Kim has avowed she wants to remain single — and then rushed into a relationship! But we must say, she and Reggie did seem good together. Stay tuned.
Justin Theroux doesn’t want to get into detail about his relationship with Jennifer Aniston except to acknowledge that it’s going just fine.
“I understand the curiosity, but other than saying I am happy, I am not going to indulge it,” the actor, who met his girlfriend while filming “Wanderlust,” told New York magazine.
As a newcomer to the media attention that has plagued the former “Friends” star for years, Justin says, “[It’s like] having shoes that are slightly too heavy — it can slow you down and make you more cautious.”
“I have to be OK with the fact that there’s a narrative that’s going to get written regardless of what is the truth,” he theorizes.
Well, that sounds like a pretty good attitude. Good luck to Justin in maintaining that perspective on the paparazzi insanity that comes with dating Jen!
